Welcome
We are a UK charity and Kenyan NGO which works to improve the quality of education for young people in rural Kenya. We work in direct partnership with rural Kenyan secondary schools by equipping disadvantaged schools with a solid resource base. This is achieved by sending UK university students from Cambridge, Oxford, King's College London, and University College London (UCL) to work in these schools and invest directly into resources aimed at improving the quality of education received by the students.
In 2011, Kenya Education Partnerships invested £34,000 into Kenyan schools in Kisii and Kakamega, and we are planning to increase this amount for our 2012 project. KEP relies entirely on voluntary donations, and the generosity of our supporters means we are able to improve the quality of secondary school education for over 2000 Kenyan students every year.
